Prague (New Town) - fountain, statue and plague column of St. Josef on Karlov náměstí
Reviews
One of the many interesting monuments located in the former Cattle Market is the statue of St. Joseph with baby Jesus in his arms. The stepfather of Jesus, who represented God himself at the family hearth, is here not only an ordinary baroque statue, but also the top of a Corinthian column that "grows" from the center of the fountain located in front of the New Town Hall building.
