A memorial plaque in Studentská Street (on the corner of Evropska Street) in Prague Dejvice commemorates the place where Josef Balabán was arrested by the Gestapo on April 22, 1941 after a short firefight. In the spring of 1939, Josef Balabán joined the anti-Nazi resistance organization Obran Národa. Together with Josef Mašín and Václav Morávek, they formed the legendary trio, known as the Three Kings.
