The Church of the Visitation of St. Mary in Skocice is a magical place. The settlement of SKOKY was probably founded in the Middle Ages, the first written mention of it dates from 1513. In its heyday, pilgrimages were organized with the participation of tens of thousands of people, and the adjacent village had up to 27 houses with 144 inhabitants.
