The town of Postoloprty (7 km west of Loun) is not large with a population of just under 5, but it offers a relatively rich cultural life. The most famous are the annual Postoloprt festivities, usually held on the second Saturday in May. Cultural stands (theatre, cinema, library) are grouped under the Cultural Facilities of the City of Postoloprty and show permanent activity.
