Execution under Hluboka

 
It was right here, on the green meadow below Hluboka, where Záviš from Falkenstein lost his life. King Václav was responsible for his execution, whose mother Kunhuta, lover and later wife of Záviš had just died. The young monarch was apparently upset that his stepfather immediately found a new wife - the passionate Elizabeth, the sister of the Hungarian king.
