Popice - church of St. Andrew

It is located in the eastern part of the village and forms its dominant feature. The oldest part of the building dates back to the Romanesque period. Even from the later period, not much has survived to the present day. The current baroque exhibition building with a beautiful facade and a slender tower was completed in 1696. Other monuments in the village are the chapel of the plague patrons of St. Roha, St. Rosalie and St. Sebestiána, which was built here in 1716.…
