Poniklý potok is a right-bank tributary of Hučivá Desná on its approximately 9th km. It springs in a small valley between Spálený vrch (1313 m) and Vozka (1377 m) at less than 1280 m below the Formanka hunting lodge. Less than 5 km (4,7) long, larger tributary at 2,5 km from Černá strána (1237m). Accessible along an unmarked forest asphalt road from Koutů nad Desnou (partly red cycle route), part of Annín (yellow sign to Vřesovka),...
