Monument to Závis from Falkenstein

In Hluboká nad Vltavou, at the level of the municipal swimming pool on the other bank of the Vltava, there is a monument to the rebellious Vítkovec Záviš from Falkenštejn, who was executed in those places on the former "Pokutní louka" in 1290. The monument was built by Prince Adolf Josef of Schwarzenberg in 1895 and it still stands here today.
