Koporeč is located six kilometers south of Most. The village was made famous by a local farmer, Wenzel Gallina, who managed to breed a late winter buttercup pear tree. Hrušni came to be called koprčka depending on the location. At the time of harvest, this pear is hard and has a bad taste.
