A monument to a tragic event
The statue with a commemorative plaque commemorates the tragic event that took place on May 10, 1945 here in Březnice. The Revolutionary Guard set up a barricade on the approach road to Březnice, assuming that this would prevent the arrival of the Nazis in Březnice.
