During the war, all men between the ages of 18 and 50 from Liběšice, Trnobran, Dolní and Horní Chobolica had to enlist. Many of them died in the war. In 1923, a monument was erected to the fallen near the stairs to the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, on which their names were carved.
