Monument to the unknown Zubr in Zubr

The monument to the unknown bison is a wooden sculpture of a bison's head on the "Sign Square" in the village of Zubří near Nové Město in Moravia. The text on the sign below the bison's head reads: "In memory of all the bison living in these places on the Zubří pasek, on which Martin Jíra founded a village in April 1270 Bison"
This monument testifies to the healthy patriotism of the local citizens.
