Monument to Prince Johann II of Lichtenstein in Boršovské les

At the beginning of the 17th century, Ladislav Velen from Žerotín owned a large part of the forests in Moravia. For his participation in the uprising, his property was confiscated and in 1621 assigned to Prince Charles of Lichtenstein as a fief of the Czech crown. The princely family of Lichtenstein then owned the forests for over three hundred years, until 1945, when they became the property of the state.
