Memorial to the American pilot near Boršov

The monument to American airman Captain Raymond F. Reuter, who commanded the 503rd Squadron of the 339th Fighter Group of the US Army and was tragically killed when his Mustang P-51 received a direct hit during the bombing of the nearby airport in Planá near České Budějovice, can be found on a slope above the Vltava River, approx. 1,5 km west of the church in Boršov nad Vltavou.
