Polní Chrčice – village and wooden lookout tower
We are returning from our vacation in Broumovsk, but we still want to stop at some lookout point on the way. This one is offered to us first. The village is located approx. 13 km northeast of Kolín, just a little south of the highway from Prague to Hradec Králové.
The first written mention dates back to 1361, when it was the property of the Prague Chapter. From 1417 it belonged to the monastery at Zderaz, from 1553 to the Poděbrady estate.…
