Polevsko
A valley village with a glassmaking tradition, located in the spring area of the Sporka stream 3 km northwest of Nové Bor, is first mentioned around the year 1400. The first guild privileges were granted to local painters, engravers and glass cutters already in 1683 by the owner of the estate Hroznata from Kokořov. In the 17th century, glassmakers from Bavaria and Silesia settled here, working in a smelter on the Klíča slope, at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries...
