Forests
Polesí is a picturesque resort located about 1,5 km north of Rynoltice in a romantic valley surrounded by wooded hills. Its founder was the Rynoltic teacher Sebastian Finke, who took the side of the authorities during the peasant uprising of 1680, for which the rebels almost killed him. Because he was not safe in the village even after the suppression of the rebellion, Countess Benedikta from Bredova sold him a piece of forest on August 20, 1683...
