A fairytale surprise - a baroque castle in Slavičín

In the middle of the town of Slavičín, a baroque castle as if from a fairy tale caught our attention during a tour of the town. The original residence, standing here in the 14th century, was a wooden fortress, which was replaced by a new brick fortress at the turn of the 15th - 16th centuries. Before the middle of the 18th century, it was replaced by a baroque castle, which was built here by the Podstatští from Prusinovice.
