Take a look inside the mountain in Křížovský lom

You can find the Křížovský quarry on the road from Kondrace to Načeradec, about two kilometers from Kondrace (roughly one kilometer from the House of Nature). There is a parking lot near the quarry.
In the wall quarry at the western foot of Křížovská hora, until 1986, the so-called Blanica orthogneis was mined, used as road aggregate. The local orthogneis rarely contains miniature crystals of Czech garnet, or pyrope.
