Poděbrady-Sokolovna

Reviews

Based 0 assessment.
In 1927, local falconers rebuilt an old falconry from 1883 on Tyršová Street, near Poděbradský nádraží, into a modern gymnasium with a cinema. The project for the redesign of the falconry was made by the Prague architect Josef Krásný. On the falconry building there is a commemorative plaque for the ceremonial opening of the falconry, as well as a commemorative plaque with the names of the fallen Sokols in the First World War.
