Poděbrady - memorial plaque of Otakar Vondrovice

On Riegrov Square stands the birthplace of Prof. MD Otakar Vondrovica (1908-1985), a piano virtuoso, whose merits are commemorated by a memorial plaque in the shape of a concert Wing. Otakar Vondrovic devoted himself to concert activities as a soloist and chamber player, while he practiced medicine in Poděbrady and later also worked as a professor at JAMU in Brno.
