March of St. Florian
May 4 is a day dedicated to the memory of St. Florian, a martyr murdered during the reign of Emperor Diocletian in 304. St. Florian is considered the patron saint of professions related to fire - especially firefighters. In memory of this martyr, the firefighters of the Chyšky Voluntary Fire Brigade have prepared the second annual hike. I chose the 11 km route (another choice is 5 km, 25 km and 37 km by bike).
