Plechý /1378 m/ is the highest mountain of Šumava in the territory of the Czech Republic, its peak is on the state border with Austria. The peak rises above Plešný jezer. From the Czech side, you can get to the top by following the yellow tourist sign from the lake or the red one from Smrčina and Řijiště - that's how we went.
