Písek - Mariánské plague sculptures

In the middle of Alšova náměstí is the Marian Plague sculpture, which commemorates the last great plague in Bohemia in 1713. Its center is a column, on the top of which stands a sculpture of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary. On the square balustrade are statues of saints (in order to the right of the entrance grille): Roch, Wenceslas, Lawrence, Barbara, Francis Xavier, Pius V, Mary Magdalene, Joseph and...
