Once part of one of the three medieval city gates - Putimská. When it was demolished in 1836, the cannonballs found there were planted in the facade of the house, after which the house got its name. Remnants of Renaissance sgraffito are preserved on the facade of the building. The house has a rich cultural history - the poet A. Heyduk, the writer J.
