Pieta on Křižanský sedl

At the highest point of Křižanské sedlo, at the point where the road crosses the red-marked tourist route from Ještěd to the German border, we find a Pieta carved into the sandstone. On the pedestal we recognize the Virgin Mary with the body of Christ taken down from the cross. The statue with the pedestal dates from 1766. This year is also carved here in the form of the Roman numerals MDCCLXVI.
