Petřvald – Sensory walkway
Like all towns and villages in the Ostrava region, Petřvald is trying to break free from the burden brought on by coal mining in the past two centuries. In Petřvald itself, coal has been mined since 1833, and mining ended in the 90s.
All this was reflected in the appearance of today's city. Petřvald has been a town since 1955 and actually merges several originally separate municipalities.
