Pernštejn - manor garden

The beginnings of the aristocratic ornamental garden at Pernštejná Castle are linked to the person of Baron František Stockhammer, who acquired the Pernštejná estate in 1710. As he states ten years later in his will, the newly established garden was for him a place of personal pleasure and relaxation. To the main park improvements however, it only happened after 1797, when the local manor was acquired by a supporter of the Josephine reforms...
