Pardubice - monument to the Veverk cousins

In the park near the church of St. Jan the Baptist in Bratranců Veverkových street there is a monument to the inventors of the ruchatel, the cousins ​​Václav and František Veverková. Its author is Josef Strachovský. The monument was unveiled in 1883 by FLRieger. On the plinth of the monument is the date 1827, i.e. the year when the noisemaker was invented. The monument originally stood on Palackého Street in front of the Synagogue (today's intersection near Tesco).
