Memorial stone in Stebno.

The village of Stebno used to be part of the St. Petersburg estate. Today it is a local part of the town of Kryry. In 1872, a wave of strong storms swept over western Bohemia. There was a breach in the dams of the ponds on the Podvinecké stream and the flooding of the Stebno. The water did a lot of damage and wasted 7 lives. The local residents therefore decided to regulate the stream at their own expense. In memory of the regulation of the stream in 1906-1907...
