In 1996, among the members of the Králové Hradec Klub of Engaged Non-Partisans, there was an initiative to establish a memorial to all the victims of Nazism and Communism. Later, former political prisoner Štěpán Plenta and other people founded the "Memorial plaque" foundation, whose aim was also to commemorate the victims of both totalitarian regimes, which are responsible for thousands of dead and even more destroyed lives in our country...
