Monument to the victims of the Pluto mine explosion

On September 3, 1981, there was an explosion of coal dust and a subsequent fire at the Pluto mine in Louka near Litvínov. At the time of the explosion, 105 miners were working in the mine. Only 40 of them survived, of which 13 were seriously and 15 slightly injured. In addition to 51 miners, 14 rescuers from the Mining Rescue Service also perished.
