Airmen's monument in the Svitava valley
The monument is located on the right bank of the deeply incised valley of the river Svitava near the railway line, in the places where the forest Gangloff road passes along its right-hand tributary - Útěchovského potok. It commemorates the tragic event of September 25.9.1951, XNUMX, when a plane of the Czechoslovak Army crashed here due to bad weather and technical problems. All five pilots of the crew perished in it...
