Ostružno (near Jičín) – Baroque Church of the Ascension of St. Crisis

The village of Ostružno, first mentioned in writing in 1227, is located about 5 kilometers southwest of Jičín. Only 82 inhabitants live in the village, but it has a bigger impression. Apparently also thanks to its dominant feature, the late Baroque Church of the Ascension of St. Kříže, which is – especially given the size of the village – a monumental building, easily visible from a distance from all sides.
