The village of Proskovice is a district of Ostrava and is located on the southwestern edge of the city. Proskovice lies east of the confluence of the Ondřejnice and Odra rivers. The Černý les stretches from the eastern edge of the village and the Klínec hill (280 masl) rises in the southeast direction.
