Ostrava - Church of Our Lady the Queen

The Roman Catholic Church in Marianské Hory on Stojanov Square is a beautiful three-nave late-baroque building designed by architect Oskar Bém. The patron of the church building was Archduke Ferdinand d'Este. It was built in the years 1905 - 1908 and solemnly consecrated on October 18, 1908 by the Bishop of Olomouc, Dr. Karl Wisnar.
