Today's Osíčko was created in 1951 by the merger of two neighboring small municipalities, Osíček and Příkazy, into one municipality under the name Osíčko. It is a small village with 460 inhabitants and can be found in the northeast direction from the town of Bystřice pod Hostýnem and on the road leading from this town to Valašské Meziříčí.
