The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is a beautiful sacred building in the grounds of the Cistercian monastery in Osek u Duchcovo. The basilica is one of the most valuable sacral buildings in northern Bohemia. The church is originally a Romanesque three-nave basilica from 1207 - 1220, the foundation stone was laid in 1206.
