Omlenička - a memento of our time

Omlenička is another settlement located on the border of the Český Krumlov Highlands and the Kaplická brázdy. It lies at an altitude of 668 meters. The first written mention of the village is from 1358.
The local Gothic fortress was apparently built in the second half of the 14th century, although its existence is only documented in 1546. Many owners changed here, and around 1600 the fortress was rebuilt into a Renaissance castle. IN…
