The Olomouc church of St. Gorazd acts as an apparition to visitors from elsewhere. The locals got used to it a long time ago and call it the Russian church. Which is nonsense, because this Orthodox sacred building has nothing to do with Russia - it was only built in an exotic Byzantine style.
The Orthodox Church in Olomouc was established during the first republic, in 1924, and the first liturgy was served by Bishop Gorazd. Back then, the church...
