The pilgrimage site Svatý Kopeček, since 1974 a local part of Olomouc with 794 (2005) inhabitants, lies about 8 km SW from the center of Olomouc. Apart from the well-known minor Basilica of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, there are many other religious and secular monuments. St. Kopeček is a beautiful landmark of the entire region. Several artists such as J. Wolker, K. Svolinský, B. Dvorský, C. Bouda, J. Lenhart, K. Lenhart, Z. Kozák and others were inspired here...
