Olešná Dam

The Olešná Reservoir is located on the southwestern edge of Frýdek-Místek. This water reservoir is used for recreation and sports, its water is not potable. There is a campsite, a restaurant, a hotel and a bike path around the entire dam. A route with a length of almost 4,5 km and a width of up to 4 meters in places leads from the dam, past the water park, the shipyard and then around the shores to the Rybarna restaurant near the dam. The trail is used all year round, in the summer by cyclists and in-line skaters, and in the winter by cross-country skiers.
