The Odry is located in North Moravia, southwest of the city of Ostrava. The city is located in a valley bordered to the north by Nízký Jeseník and to the south by Oderské Vrchy. The Odra river flows through the city. A system of ponds is built southeast of the city. An orchard is established at the northern edge of the city.
