Although there are many different natural phenomena named after chertmans (e.g. rocks) in our republic, only three localities can boast the name of the inferno itself.
The first two can be found in the Czech Republic. Peklo u Česká Lípa is a National Natural Monument and, in addition to protected pales, visitors can also see a number of rocks and narrow places in the canyon. Those of our more timid ancestors apparently...
