We get by train from Otrokovice via Břeclav to Podivín, from there it is a 6,5 km walk to the castle. Again, my husband's somewhat unnecessarily complicated invention - in 30 degree heat - on a hike - it was a horror!
We walk to the destination of our journey - the artificial ruins of Jan's castle - through floodplain forest, meadows, and fields, and we haven't met a sign yet. For that part of the way, we just got mad at each other, because everyone had something about this route…
