The township of Dešenice, which is located at an altitude of 505 meters on the very edge of the Šumava Mountains below Prenet Hill, has around 700 inhabitants.
 
Interesting places and objects can be found everywhere, only at the time of our visit it was the time of the corona virus and therefore closed.
 
The first mention of Dešenice dates from the 13th century. This is where the mansion stood. The originally Gothic fortress can still be admired today.
