Obora Holedná - a monument to the Russian air force

It is located in the Holedná nature reserve on the slope of a flat valley. It was built in memory of the Russian pilot VS Kašurin, who was shot down here at the end of the war in 1945. The memorial was then expanded by the citizens of Kohoutovice in memory of the fallen pilots during the liberation of Brno. The surrounding park arrangement also includes a pond with a well and benches. There is also an information board of the local Educational Trail. A short path leads to the monument…
