The wine-growing village of Lednice with approximately 2 inhabitants is located in the South Moravian region in the Břeclav district. It lies in the middle of a natural park called Lednicko - Valtice area.
The first mentions of the village come from 1222 as a feudal seat. From the middle of the 13th century it was the property of Liechtenstein until 1945, when it was nationalized.
