Nymburk-Old execution house

Reviews

Based 0 assessment.
In the northeastern part of the historic town of Nymburk, there is a stylish Restaurant Katovna, built in the 17th century. The house was probably used for the needs of the city executioner. It has preserved the historical character of the building. Not far from Katovna stood the Hořčice tower, where there was a prison and a torture chamber, demolished in the 18th century.
