Nymburk-City waterworks

In the northern historical part of the city of Nymburk, 500 m from the main train station, it was built in 1904 according to the project of architects J. Polívka and Vl. Hrásky art nouveau city waterworks. The water house is a cylindrical-conical structure 37 m high on the foundations of a square plan. The upper cup-shaped part of the tower can accommodate 480 hl. water. It was reconstructed in 1945 and in 1993, when it was declared a cultural monument.…
